South Island Wine & Food Festival

Celebrate with 80 of the South Island's leading winemakers and food producers in the picturesque North Hagley Park as we transport you through the vineyards that have cemented New Zealand's place on the world stage.

40 wineries are joined by the region's biggest names in food; local restaurateurs, gourmet food producers and exquisite street food stalls complement the diverse varietals on show.

Festival Features include interactive wine seminars & workshops hosted by Masters of Wine and Sommeliers from New Zealand and abroad. Don't miss the Cooking Theatre, where you'll be treated to live demonstrations from renowned Kiwi chefs - or catch the country's best live music talent on stage amongst the trees - sipping cool Pinot Gris with your complementary South Island Wine & Food Festival souvenir wine glass.

Early Bird One 

Ticket includes souvenir tasting glass and access to all features and entertainment. Limited to 700 tickets only.

Early Bird Two 

Ticket includes souvenir tasting glass and access to all features and entertainment. Limited to 750 tickets only.

General Admission

Ticket includes souvenir tasting glass and access to all festival features and entertainment.


Connoisseur

Ticket includes souvenir tasting glass, 15 wine tasting tickets, and access to all features and entertainment. Connoisseur Ticket holders also get to enter the festival half an hour early.


VIP Experience (table of 10) 

Ten tickets to the VIP area with reserved seating, including a complimentary bar with South Island wines, beer and ciders, and appetizers, lunch and afternoon tea prepared by talented Canterbury chefs.

VIP Experience (Single ticket)

Includes entrance to the VIP area, including a complimentary bar with South Island wines, beer and ciders, and appetizers, lunch and afternoon tea prepared by talented Canterbury Chefs.


Kids Free

Children under the age of 12 free – Must be accompanied by an adult.

Gate Sales

If available, a limited number of General Admission tickets will be available on the gate for $55.
