Terrace Downs is a stunning resort style wedding venue, located in beautiful High Country not far from Christchurch.

The venue can accommodate every part of the wedding day including the ceremony, reception and overnight stays for guests.

Terrace Downs has a number of locations for the ceremony including the Gorge overlooking Mt Hutt and the picturesque 4th hole on the golf course.  The reception can be held inside in one or more of the reception rooms depending on guest numbers.

Spaces include an outdoor area with stunning views and the huge open fire - perfect for cosy winter weddings.  A powder room is available for the bridal party allowing hair and makeup to be done on site in a relaxed atmosphere.

Catering options include canapes, buffet, platter and sit-down style dinners and a brunch before everyone departs the following day.

The dedicated wedding team will organise everything for the big day and can arrange special extras from arrivals on horseback to a helicopter ride to a perfect location for wedding photos that won't be forgotten.

Pre and post-wedding events such as hen and stag nights can also be arranged and the onsite accommodation options make it easy for guests to party.  Extra activities including spa treatments, archery, and clay pigeon shooting can be organised.
