You’ll visit New Zealand’s largest alpine lavender farm (open October to April), where lavender ice cream is available. Outside those months, a nearby scenic lookout replaces the visit.

At Mt Cook village, enjoy lunch before taking the Hooker Valley Track walk, known for its impressive mountain and river views. Later, travel to Lake Tekapo for dinner and an evening stargazing session guided by an expert. Overnight accommodation in Lake Tekapo is not included and must be booked separately.

Day 2: After a relaxed morning, explore Lake Tekapo, including the Church of the Good Shepherd and local history. Continue to Mt John for panoramic views, then visit Burkes Pass for 19th-century merchandise sights.
