Start your day with hotel pickup from central Christchurch and travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle across the Canterbury Plains. Pass through farmland, rivers, and expansive landscapes before arriving at Lake Tekapo. Here, visit the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd and admire the lake’s bright turquoise water.
Continue through the Mackenzie Basin to Lake Pukaki, famous for its glacier-fed, blue water and clear views of Mt Cook. This spot provides excellent photo opportunities.
Arrive at Mt Cook National Park where you will have free time to explore independently. Options include taking a short walk on the Hooker Valley Track or relaxing while enjoying the alpine scenery.
