Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from select Queenstown locations. Your journey will take you by the historic Kawarau Gorge, through Cromwell, passing by the scenic Lake Dunstan, rugged landscapes of Tarras, before stopping for a photo at the Lindis Pass, with it's sweeping views of tussock-covered hills and valleys.
With a 30 minute stop in Oamarama, you can stretch your legs & grab a bite to eat, and take some photos with the local sheep!
A quick photo stop at Lake Pukaki - this glacial-fed lake is renowned for its striking turquoise waters and provides incredible photo opportunities with Mt Cook towering in the background.
Finally we arrive in Mt Cook Aoraki National Park. You’ll have approximately 3 hours here. You can take an optional scenic flight (weather permitting), complete one of the stunning walks, enjoy the visitors centre, or simply enjoy the awe-inspiring views with a hot drink at the Hermitage Hotel.
Upon departing Mt Cook you will stop for 10 minutes at Lake Tekapo & Church of the Good Shepherd. Don’t miss the chance to take in the panoramic views!
As we leave Lake Tekapo, we traverse the expansive Canterbury Plains, a region known for its fertile farmland and sweeping vistas. Our final destination is Christchurch, the Garden City, where your tour concludes with a drop-off at select central Christchurch accommodation locations.
