Wings Over Whales Kaikoura provide whale watching flights, scenic air tours and private aircraft charter. Our professional and experienced team deliver a friendly flying experience, where the comfort and safety of each passenger is paramount.
Passengers are able to enjoy their own window seat and our high-winged aircraft will allow you to have an unobstructed view of Kaikoura’s marine wild life and majestic scenery.
We operate from Kaikoura Airport, an 8km drive south from the town centre. Located in an inviting log cabin terminal, customers can enjoy great facilities with on-site gift shop, café and rest room facilities.
Visitors are encouraged to allow 1 hour to complete either their whale watching or scenic flight experience. An information and safety briefing is conducted prior to travel and all flights are 30 minutes in duration unless an alternative length of trip has been agreed on.
We welcome individuals, groups and also those with children, infants and limited mobility.
