The Curator's House is a well-known Christchurch restaurant open for lunch, dinner, and coffee.  Located in the city's Botanic Gardens, the restaurant is surrounded by the lush lawns and native plantings of the gardens and has views of the Avon River.

The Curator’s House serves authentic Spanish Cuisine. Our chef from Barcelona creates truly tapas such as award winning Chorizo Garcia cooked in cider & Cloudy Bay Clams a la Marinera.  Traditional Spanish main courses include Cordero Asado (Slow roasted alpine lamb shoulder) & Spanish Paella served in its pan.

The venue has its own kitchen garden, which supplies much of the produce used in its fine-dining dishes.

Event Facilities:

The Curator's House can be hired for private functions and as a wedding venue with a number of rooms and a private courtyard holding up to 150 guests.

Opening Hours:

Lunch - Tuesday - Sunday:  11.30am - 2.30pm
Dinner - Tuesday - Saturday:  From 5.00pm
