The Tannery Boutique Retail and Arts Emporium

The Tannery is a Boutique Retail & Arts Emporium in Woolston. Built inside a former tannery building along the banks of the Heathcote River, The Tannery offers shoppers more than 50 boutique stores.

Housed under a building full of character, it's a chance to combine shopping with dining out, with a number of bars, restaurants and cafes. Shops include a bookshop, clothing, homeware, health and beauty, design and an art studio.

With continued development since the 2011 Christchurch earthquake, more shops have been added including a hairdresser, barber, florist and more fashion outlets.
