This extensive pine plantation runs alongside the coast in the north-east of the city with a range of tracks for mountain-biking, horse-riding, and walking.  

The Visitor Centre is situated at the Waitikiri Drive entrance, features track maps, brochures and displays about the park's history and ecology.  There are public toilets in the car park.

The main entrance and car park is off Waitikiri Drive, off Burwood Road, accessed via Marshlands or Burwood.  You can reach the park on foot from Spencer Park and from North Shore along the Southern Pegasus Bay track.

Opening Hours:

Waitikiri Drive gates are open from 7.00am to 9.00pm year-round.
