Our scenic full 18 hole golf course is set on undulating country at the the head of the Akaroa Harbour. There are stunning views all around the golf course. It has long been considered one of the most scenic, challenging and beautiful courses in Canterbury. A true hidden gem.
There are stunning harbour, sea and country views from all around this challenging course. While a relatively short 18 hole course by modern day standards, don’t be fooled into thinking its easy. The natural terrain and hazards require your full attention.
Visitors are welcome on course at all times. Getting on the course at a time to suit you is rarely a problem, you’ll often have the course to yourself! A simple honesty system for Green Fees exists (Eftpos, Cash or Direct Bank Deposit) if the office is unattended, however bookings are recommended particularly if you require hire equipment.

Event Facilities:
Akaroa Golf Club offers its Clubrooms & Course as a venue for Weddings, Commitment Ceremonies and Special Functions. Ceremonies can be performed in the clubrooms lounge, outside on the decking or even in a special place around the golf course. The Clubrooms are an excellent venue for receptions and comfortably seats up to 100 guests.
