Next door to popular Christchurch restaurant Cook'n with Gas in Worcester Boulevard, The Astro Lounge is a casual restaurant, perfect for a get together with friends or family.

As the casual side of Cook ‘N’ With Gas, The Astro Lounge is a take on the outdoor experience. Come in early before your restaurant booking for a pre dinner drink or organize a function. It is the perfect way to enjoy an afternoon or evening, to impress your friends and colleges at “The Astro Lounge”.

The Astro Lounge's menu follows the space age theme of the venue, including Pigs in Space - pork, bacon, and onions in fried bread, and Red Rocket Poppers - cheese filled chillies served with salsa and slaw. Drinks include beers from New Zealand and Belgium and a wine list predominantly from New Zealand wineries.

Live music enhances the atmosphere at weekends, and the petanque court is a great way to stay entertained during the visit.
