Tucked away on Wairakei Road in the Christchurch suburb of Bryndwr, May's Thai offers authentic Thai food in a simple but welcoming venue.
The restaurant offers a wide range of Thai dishes that can be eaten separately or ordered together for sharing. The meals are created using fresh ingredients by chefs experienced in the Thai style of cooking. Entrees include spring rolls, dim sum, and chicken satay. Main meals can be made with a choice of seafood, chicken, pork, lamb or beef, or a vegetarian tofu.
Spicy salads and soups are also available along with noodle and rice dishes. Desserts include traditional Thai puddings and green and jasmine teas are offered to cleanse the palate after a meal.
