This fully licensed 'bring your own' sit-in and takeaway restaurant is the self-proclaimed original in Indian cuisine in the whole of the Waimakariri District.
The menu has an extensive array of seafood, chicken, lamb and beef curries with a wide variety of options in each category, and there is fantastic choice for vegetarians too (with both, normal veg based curries and paneer cheese dishes on offer).
While the interior decoration is simple and sweet with a few traditional Indian adornments, the focus here is really on the food. Although Spice and Life is BYO licensed, this policy is only extended to wine, and the in-house alcohol menu caters well for beer drinkers.
Opening Hours:
Tuesday to Thursday 5.00pm - 9.00pm, Friday to Sunday 5.00pm-Late, and closed on Mondays.
