There's no better way to really experience the beautiful Banks Peninsula, than by walking it at your own pace. Really take the time to stop and look at what's around you, and be enchanted by one of the world's naturally seductive landscapes. This spectacular and wild coastline punctuated by peaceful bays is a beautiful contrast of ever changing landscapes making the Banks Peninsula Track probably the most diverse track in New Zealand.

These two self-guided options offer comprehensive route information, highlights not to miss on the journey, hints and tips, plus accommodation along the way. Both routes are the same (35km), and utilise the same accommodation, but it's entirely up to you how fast you want to go.
