Valley Inn Tavern

The Valley Inn Tavern has been a fixture in the Heathcote Valley for more than 130 years. The venue has been rebuilt following the Christchurch earthquakes, but the warm welcome and hospitality remains the same.
The tavern evokes a traditional old English ambience with the relaxed feeling of a country pub just minutes from the city centre. The brick lined well which now features as a bar leaner and the old trees in the courtyard are reminders of the old building while memorabilia from the Heathcote area lines the walls.
The menu includes bar snacks, an all-day breakfast, and traditional meals, which are created using fresh local produce.
The bar features big screens, betting terminals and gaming machines.
