Port Hills
Visitors can experience the Port Hills in many different ways, from scenic drives to picnic lookouts. There are a number of scenic walking tracks with some of the best views of the city and surrounding region.
Running, mountain biking and road biking are more reasons to visit. Rock climbers can enjoy the sheer volcanic bluffs while paragliders can soar high over the tussock slopes.
Public and private reserves on the Port Hills run in almost a continuous line from Godley Head to Coopers Knob.
Car parking is available along Summit Road with the Sign of The Kiwi cafe closeby.
