One of Christchurch's iconic attractions, hop on board a beautifully restored heritage tram through the rapid re-development of Christchurch City Centre. It's a relaxing way to learn about the history of Christchurch with a spot of sightseeing.
Insightful and friendly drivers offer guided commentary on the city and the major landmarks. A day-long ticket allows you to hop on and off the Tram as many times as you like giving you the time to visit all the major sights of the city centre.
Cathedral Junction, the Avon River, Gothic-style Arts Centre, New Regent Street, the Riverside Market & The Terrace are just some of sights to be seen from the comfort of your Tram or accessed from the 18 stops en route.
- The full circuit is 50 minutes, with tickets valid for one day.
- There is no minimum age but for safety reasons children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
- Board at any of the 18 Tram stops, and get on and off with your ticket throughout the day. The Trams run every 15-25 minutes.
