Horncastle Arena

Horncastle Arena (CBS Canterbury Arena) is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the central city and is one of the largest purpose-built indoor entertainment venues in New Zealand.

Since it opened in 1998, the arena has hosted top-flight sports teams, world famous entertainers and held numerous gala dinners and exhibitions.

With 4000m2 floor space and a maximum seating capacity of 9000 the arena is well equipped to deal with big events.  However, the venue can also be configured to cater for smaller events features 18 corporate suites, which can be hired for meetings or for a more luxurious experience at a public event.
